The Story: Peter House is a modern architectural statement built upon
centuries of cultural memory. It pays homage to the legendary skill of
Armenian stone masons, translating their ancient craft into a
contemporary language. The design creates a bridge between
generations: the dark, grounded basalt base speaks of endurance and
history, while the monolithic pink tuff volume above creates a warm,
protective shell for modern family life.
This home balances privacy with openness. Deeply recessed windows
and textured balconies create cozy, shaded outdoor nooks perfect for
enjoying the mountain air, while large glass walls on the ground floor
flood the living spaces with natural light. The unique pink tuff stone
gives the house a soft, welcoming glow that changes with the sun,
making it not just a building, but a living part of the landscape. It is a
home built to last generations, combining the comfort of modern living
with the timeless soul of traditional materials.

Target Audience: Social media, index pages
Peter House is a striking neo-modern residence that redefines
traditional Armenian masonry. By contrasting a dark basalt base with a
monolithic pink tuff upper volume, the design creates a powerful visual
dialogue between weight and lightness. Featuring deep recessed
balconies, perforated stone detailing, and expansive glazing, the home
offers a sophisticated, tactile living experience deeply rooted in its
cultural and geological context.
