The Story: Rising above the streets of Arabkir, this new residential
development brings a fresh, modern pulse to one of Yerevan’s most
established districts. The building is designed as a striking white
landmark, defined by a playful yet elegant “pixelated” façade. Instead of
flat, boring walls, the architecture features a rhythmic pattern of
windows and balconies that makes the building look different from every
angle, constantly changing with the movement of the sun.
For the residents, this design means more than just curb appeal—it
means privacy and comfort. The deep, recessed balconies act as private
outdoor rooms, shaded and shielded from direct view, perfect for
enjoying the city vista. The dark mesh railings add a touch of modern
industrial style while keeping the views open. At street level, a sleek,
dark stone base handles the hill’s slope effortlessly, creating a grand,
welcoming entrance that feels both secure and sophisticated. With
spacious layouts and a prime location, the Arabkir Residence offers a
lifestyle that is bright, organized, and distinctly modern.

The Arabkir Residential Building challenges the standard apartment
block typology with a striking 4,510 m2 volume defined by rhythm and
contrast. The façade reads as a white monolith “eroded” by a
syncopated pattern of dark, recessed balconies and windows, creating a
dynamic checkerboard effect. Anchored by a dark commercial plinth
that negotiates the sloping street, the project combines rigorous
geometric order with the tactile depth of mesh balustrades and deep
loggias.
