The Story: The Roudehen Villa reimagines the concept of a weekend
retreat by blending the raw, cool vibe of an industrial loft with the
warmth of a countryside home. The design creates a striking contrast
between two primary materials: handcrafted red brick, which gives the
house a sense of history and warmth, and smooth exposed concrete,
which adds a layer of modern sophistication.

At the heart of the home is a seamless connection to the outdoors. Huge
glass walls frame views of the private garden, allowing sunlight to wash
over the polished concrete floors and textured brick interiors. The living
space is anchored by a cozy fireplace, making it perfect for winter
gatherings, while the deep concrete roof overhangs create a shaded
patio for relaxing on hot summer days. Ideally proportioned at 150 m2, it
is a home designed for a lifestyle that values authenticity, texture, and a
constant dialogue with nature without excess.

The Roudehen Villa is a masterclass in material contrast, juxtaposing a
monumental red brick spine with a sleek, cantilevered concrete volume.
This Neo-Brutalist residence features deep shaded terraces, floor-toceiling glazing, and an open-plan layout that opens directly onto a
private garden terrace. The design maximizes its 150 m2 floor plan to
create a spacious, light-filled sanctuary defined by raw textures and
tectonic precision.
